Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim, Clifton
This is the city's big seafront park: 130 acres near Clifton Beach, opened in 2007 on the site of the old Toyland theme park. Inside are early twentieth-century structures, including the Jehangir Kothari Parade of 1919 and the Katrak Bandstand, plus a turtle pond and a rose garden. It reopened after renovation in 2019.

Hill Park, PECHS
Hill Park sits off Shaheed-e-Millat Expressway in PECHS. It was built in the early 1960s and covers about 62 acres, although only part is developed as park. It has a man-made lake, walking and jogging tracks, viewpoints over the city and a small amusement area called Fun City.
Why go: it is where local families walk in the evening, and it has more shade than most Karachi parks. Tip: a 2020 guide gave entry at PKR 50 and open hours of 9 am to midnight, while a more recent listing says entry is free with rides charged separately. Both cannot be right, so expect to pay for rides and be ready for either at the gate.
Karachi Safari Park, Gulshan-e-Iqbal
Safari Park is the biggest of the group at 148 acres. It opened in 1970 and combines a zoo, two lakes, a chairlift, a picnic area called Kashmir Point and a private adventure park inside the grounds. It is run as a family-only park.
Why go: children can spend a whole day here, and it works for a picnic. Tip: gate prices are low but sources give PKR 30 to 100, with zip line and jump rides separate, so budget for the extras. Bagh-e-Karachi (former Aladin Park)
Wikipedia records that the 72-acre site, formerly Aladdin Amusement Park and before that the Safari Park grounds, was reopened as a public park called Bagh-e-Karachi on 12 July 2026, with swings and other family facilities. We could not confirm entry fees or opening hours.
Why go: it is new, so it is worth a look if you are nearby. Tip: check local news or ask your hotel first, since a park this recent may still be changing its rules and facilities.
Jahangir Park, Saddar
Jahangir Park is about 6 acres on Prince Road, on land donated by a Parsi philanthropist in 1893. It has lawns, shade and dinosaur sculptures that children like, and it was renovated in 2017.
Why go: it is a green break in the middle of Saddar's traffic. Tip: entry is free, and parking is reportedly about PKR 100, so go by ride-hailing if you can.
Frere Hall gardens
