Attabad Lake
Formed by a landslide in 2010 that dammed the Hunza river. The colour is not exaggerated in photographs.
Passu Cones and Hussaini bridge
The serrated ridge every visitor photographs, and a rope bridge that is less alarming than it looks.
Khunjerab Pass
The Pakistan-China border at about 4,693 metres, and the highest paved frontier crossing in the world.
