Sindbad Wonderland is an amusement park in Block 10, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, near NIPA Chowrangi in Karachi. It opens in the late afternoon, and you pay a small entry fee (reported as PKR 20 to 50 per person) plus either single ride tickets or a wristband. Wristbands are sold by zone and listed at roughly PKR 400 to 700 each in 2026 sources. It is aimed at families and is a much cheaper evening than the big theme parks.

Timings
The park's own website lists weekday hours of 4 pm to 10:30 pm and weekend hours of 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Other pages give 4:30 pm to 11 pm daily, and one gives a 3 pm start on weekdays, so the schedule has probably moved around. Plan to arrive in the early evening and call (021) 34990569 before a special trip, particularly in Ramadan, on Eid days and on public holidays, when hours often change.
Karachi evenings are more comfortable than afternoons for outdoor rides, and the park is built around that.
Ticket and wristband prices
Two things are charged: entry, and the rides.
- Entry. A small per-person fee. Sources give PKR 20 (Graana) to PKR 40 (a 2026 ticket guide) to PKR 50 (a Tripadvisor-linked summary), so bring small notes and expect about PKR 50 at most.
- Single ride tickets. Listings give roughly PKR 50 to 150 per ride depending on the attraction, and about PKR 150 for the 4D cinema.
- Wristbands. The park sells colour-coded wristbands for different zones: black, green, brown and yellow on its website. One 2026 listing gives PKR 700 for the outdoor rides, PKR 700 for the kids zone, PKR 400 for the bounce zone and PKR 700 for the indoor extreme zone, with a VR zone at about PKR 200 extra. Another gives a general range of PKR 500 to 700.
These are third-party figures, not a price list from the park. Ask at the counter which band covers which rides before you pay, and compare a band with single tickets if you only want a few rides. If anyone in your group will ride for hours, a band is usually cheaper than tickets. If you only want two or three rides, buy tickets.
What rides are there
The park says it has more than 35 rides across zones it calls Xtreme, Kids, Playbee, Xtreme Bounce and Xtreme Sindbad. Named rides on the website include the Pirate Ship, Tornado, Log Slide, Haunted Train and Box Cricket. Directory sites also mention bumper cars, a Ferris wheel and a merry-go-round, and there is a food court and an arcade area.

The family-only rule
Reviews and directory sites report that the park admits families only, and that men on their own are generally not allowed in. This is one reason many visitors describe it as calm and clean. If you are a group of men, or a mixed group of friends with no family, ask at the gate before travelling.
How to get there
The park is in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, on the side of the neighbourhood near NIPA Chowrangi, off Rashid Minhas Road. Traffic near NIPA is heavy in the early evening, so allow extra time. Parking is limited, according to visitors, and the park's website lists parking, restrooms, rest areas and wheelchair access.
The original Sindbad was on the Clifton seaside; that site is now occupied by Dolmen City. Sindbad has also had small centres in malls, and the Wikipedia entry records that the Gulshan-e-Iqbal park was shut by the KDA in August 2015, but the park at this address is listed as operating in 2026 and the official website is active. If in doubt, call first.
Tips for a smooth evening
- Go on a weekday for shorter lines.
- Carry cash, in case the counter or the food stalls do not take cards.
- Decide on a wristband before you enter, not after the first ride.
- Keep a hand on small children in crowds, and agree on a meeting point.
- Eat first if you want to avoid park food prices.
Is Sindbad worth it?
For a low-cost family evening it is one of the best options in the city, particularly for children under about twelve. The rides are not the newest and there are few extreme ones, but you can spend a few hundred rupees per child and stay for hours.
