Skyways and Niazi Express are based on Band Road near Bakar Mandi, Faisal Movers uses Band Road and the Jinnah terminal at Thokar, and Badami Bagh is the old shared stand for smaller operators. Thokar Niaz Baig
Thokar Niaz Baig is the southern gate of Lahore, where the M-2 motorway meets Multan Road (the N-5). The Lahore Jinnah Bus Terminal stands here, which makes it the best-connected point for anyone coming from the south of the city or the motorway.
- Daewoo Express: the terminal is on Multan Road and Mohlanwal Road near a petrol pump. The number listed for it is 042-37498515.
- Faisal Movers: operates from the Jinnah terminal here as one of several Lahore terminals.
- Skyways and Niazi Express: some booking sites list Thokar boarding points for these companies too, but the companies' own listings give Band Road as their terminal. Check the ticket.
Kalma Chowk
Kalma Chowk sits on Ferozepur Road in central Lahore, handy for Gulberg and the city's middle. Daewoo Express lists a Kalma Chowk terminal at 231 Ferozepur Road with its own phone number, and it works as a second departure point. Faisal Movers is reported to sell tickets here rather than run full departures.
If you are staying in Gulberg, Model Town or near the canal, boarding at Kalma Chowk can save a long drive to Thokar. Ask whether your particular route boards here, since not every service does.
Band Road
Band Road, in the north-west of the city near Bakar Mandi and Shera Kot, is where several long-distance companies are based.
- Skyways: the official terminal address is on Band Road near Bakar Mandi, Shera Kot. It is open round the clock for bookings.
- Niazi Express: the terminal is on Band Road, also called Niazi Adda.
- Faisal Movers: its main hub is described as the Abdullah Travels terminal on Band Road, with a second City Bus Terminal near Chowk Yateem Khana. Faisal Movers serves Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Peshawar, Swat, Gilgit, Faisalabad, Multan and Karachi, among others.
Band Road is a congested part of Lahore. Leave extra time if you are coming from the south, and take a ride-hailing car rather than a rickshaw if you have heavy bags.
Badami Bagh
Badami Bagh, on Circular Road just north of the Walled City, is the oldest bus stand in Lahore. It is a shared stand for many smaller operators and regional routes rather than for the big branded coach lines. It is useful for local and short intercity trips, and less so for a comfortable long-distance overnight.
