You can book bus tickets in Pakistan online in a few minutes: pick your route and date, choose an operator, select a seat, pay by card or mobile wallet, and receive an e-ticket by SMS and email. Bookme is the best-known platform that lists several operators together, and many operators also sell directly through their own sites and apps. What matters most is not the booking itself but the refund rules, which differ sharply from one operator to the next.

How do you book a bus ticket on Bookme?

The steps are the same on the website and the app.

1. Choose your route and date. Enter where you are leaving from and going to, and the day. For a trip such as Lahore to Islamabad, you will see a list of operators with fares and departure times.

3. Pick your seat. Most operators show a seat map. Choose your seats before you pay.
4. Enter passenger details. Use names and phone numbers that match the travellers. The e-ticket is sent to the number and email you provide.
5. Pay. Use a card, a mobile wallet or another option offered on the payment page.
6. Save the confirmation. Keep the SMS or email, and note the terminal and boarding time, because operators can use different terminals in the same city.

Some operators only appear on Bookme if they have enabled online booking through the platform. If a bus company you want is missing, try its own website or app, or a terminal counter.

Payment options

Bookme lists a wide range of ways to pay: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPak cards, Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast QR and Raast request-to-pay, bank accounts, and some book-now-pay-later options. Not every method is offered for every booking.

If your plans are fixed, book online.
