Both routes converge at Dina, a small town on the GT Road about 15 km short of Jhelum city, where a road branches off towards Mirpur.
Via GT Road (N-5). The traditional route, running through Gujranwala, Gujrat and towards Jhelum before the Dina turn-off. It's a well-used road with more traffic through towns along the way.
Via the motorway corridor. Using the M-11 (Lahore–Sialkot) or the wider motorway network towards Gujrat and Kharian before rejoining the GT Road near Dina, this option is generally faster where it stays on motorway standard road, with the last stretch to Dina and on to Mirpur on ordinary road either way.
