Bahria Town Lahore Eiffel Tower: Entry, Timings, Night Views

The Eiffel Tower in Bahria Town Lahore is an 80-metre replica of the Paris landmark, completed in 2014 and standing on Main Boulevard in the Violet Block area of the gated Bahria Town community. Visitor guides list it as open from about 10 am to 10 pm, with free access to the ground area and paid tickets for the first floor and the top observation deck. It is most popular after dark, when the tower is lit.

What is the Bahria Town Eiffel Tower?

It is a steel-framed replica built as a landmark for the Bahria Town development, in the south-east of Lahore. It is not the only such tower in Pakistan or in the world, and at 80 metres it is about a quarter of the height of the original in Paris, and it is the community's best-known landmark.

The tower sits on a roundabout-style plaza with lawns and a walkway around it. The first floor houses a café, and an observation deck at the top looks over the Bahria Town grid. Nearby you will find the Grand Jamia Mosque, the Clock Tower chowk and a cluster of familiar restaurants and food outlets along the main road.

Ticket prices and timings

Prices here come from visitor guides published in 2026 and not from an official board, so they may have changed. Treat them as a guide and pay what is posted at the counter.

• Ground entry: free. Parking is charged, and the amount was not given in the sources we found.
• First floor: about PKR 100 per person, which is where the café is.
• Third floor and observation deck: about PKR 300 per person.

One guide says entry starts from PKR 300 depending on the deck, which is consistent with the top-deck price above.

Opening hours are listed differently by different sites. Most give 10 am to 10 pm. One gives 10 am to 11 pm, and another gives 12 noon to 8 pm. Winter hours may be shorter than summer hours, and the tower can close for maintenance or events. If the top deck matters to you, arrive in the afternoon rather than at closing time.

Can non-residents visit the Eiffel Tower?

Bahria Town Lahore is a gated community, and visitor guides describe controlled entry through guarded gates. The sources we found did not spell out the rules for visitors who do not live there. In practice, people from other parts of Lahore visit the tower regularly, but you should expect a security check at the gate and should carry your CNIC.

Rules for gated communities change without notice, especially on holidays, New Year's Eve and during periods of heightened security. If you are travelling a long way for the tower, phone ahead or ask a friend who lives in the community, and use a ride-hailing app if you would rather not drive through the gate yourself. The best time to see the tower at night

The tower is lit after dark. Guides describe purple and pink lighting at different levels, with special lighting on festivals and holidays. That is the main reason people come in the evening.

• Arrive around 4 to 5 pm in winter to see the tower in daylight, go up while it is still light, and then stay for the lights.
• Winter and the cooler months (roughly October to March) are far more pleasant than summer, when the plaza is hot until sunset.
• Weekdays are calmer. Weekends and holidays are crowded and parking is tight.
• New Year's Eve brings large crowds and fireworks, and roads in and around the community can be blocked for hours.

How to get to the Eiffel Tower from Lahore

Bahria Town lies in the south-east of the city. Guides put the drive from central Lahore at 30 to 40 minutes by car or taxi, longer at rush hour. Ride-hailing apps work well, though pick-up from inside the community can be slow on busy evenings.

What else is nearby?

Is the Eiffel Tower worth visiting?

It is a good evening out, and cheap. It suits families with children, groups of friends who want photographs and a coffee, and anyone in Lahore for a few days who has already done the main heritage sights. Allow one to two hours, or thirty to forty minutes for a quick photo stop.

It suits less well anyone travelling to Lahore for history and culture with limited time.
