Manora Island: a sunset with a ferry ride
Manora adds something the mainland beaches don't: you get there by a short boat ride from Keamari, which is part of the experience rather than just a way to arrive. Hawksbay and French Beach: further out, wider views
Both of these sit west of the city, past Sandspit, in the same run of coastline. Hawksbay is a long, open beach with little built up around it, so the horizon is uninterrupted and there is more space to spread out than at Sea View.
