- What exactly is included? Ask the operator to list gear, transport, food, and any guide or instructor by name, not just "snorkelling package".
- Is a life jacket provided for every passenger, including non-swimmers, and is it worn on the boat as well as in the water?
- How many staff are in the water with guests, and is there a dedicated person watching non-swimmers?
- What happens if the sea is rough on the day? A reliable operator postpones rather than takes a boat out in bad conditions, and should say what that means for your payment.
- Is the price per person the final price, or are there extras added on the day, such as fuel surcharges or equipment upgrades?
- What is the cancellation and refund policy if the trip is called off for weather?

Trips generally run from around October to April, with November to March considered the best window for calm seas and clear water. From about mid-May to August the sea off Karachi is too rough for boats to run, and this end of the coast is also affected by summer Section 144 orders that restrict swimming and shoreline activity.
Weekend dates in the cooler months, particularly around Eid and winter holidays, fill up. Book at least a few days ahead if you want a specific Saturday or Sunday, and confirm the departure point and time the day before.
Is a package worth it over arranging your own boat?
